Introduction: Hot Glue Ring

About: "I am a crafty girl. I make things. Lots of things. I'll keep making things until my fingers fall off. Then I will grab my hot glue gun reattach those suckers & Make More Things." Kathy R. Jeffor…

For this instructable I am going to show you how to make the most adorable ring using hot glue. It is cheap to make & it is awesome I mean it is a ring made out of glue! Hope you enjoy.

Step 1: What You Need

What you need is:

Hot glue gun

Glue stick

Scissors

Duck tape

Oil (I used olive oil but you can use any kind)

Spray paint (optional) any color

Step 2:

First cut a small piece of duck tape that would wrap around your finger and fold it in half lengthwise. Now wrap it around your finger and secure with a small piece of tape (make sure it slides on and off like a ring)

Step 3:

Pour a bit of olive oil on a plate (or something) and roll the duck tape ring in it. Then lay it down & grab your hot glue gun and glue around on the duck tape ring in spirals, swirls and any other designs you want (just make sure they connect in the end)

Step 4:

Let the glue dry, then peel off the duck tape (being careful not to break the glue) The reason we rubbed the duck tape in oil was to help the glue come off.

Step 5:

I you like how it looks now, and don't want to spray paint it. Then you are done congrats. I hope you enjoyed, but if you want to spray paint it then continue on and see how it turns out (personally I like how it looks painted better)

Step 6: Spray Paint Time (Optional)

If you decided to spray paint then great so grab your ring, spray paint, & some cardboard and go outside. Once you spray paint it you are done. I hope you enjoyed this instructable and don't forget to vote :)
