How Make Simple Wooden Toy Daggers

This guide will cover how to quickly make a pair of wooden toy daggers.

Step 1: Materials

You will need the following materials for this:

- silver paint
- black hockey or electrical tape
- sandpaper
- two pieces of wood, small enough to to wrap your grip around
- scissors

Step 2: The Hand Grip

This is where you will need the sand paper.

Use the sandpaper to smooth off the edges of the piece, to make a more comfortable grip. Only sand down the bottom, going a hand's width up the piece.

Step 3: The Blade

This is the step that will require the paint. I used a can of spray paint for this but you can just use a paint brush.

Paint piece all the way from where you finished sanding, to the top. Finish of by painting the tip silver as well.

Step 4: Finishing

Now, just take the tape and warp a small length of it around where the sanding and paint job meet.

Now you're done.
