Step 1: Step One: Gather Branches

Step One:FIrst you have to cut some large branches so make sure you bring tools. After you collect your branches make them pointed at the end, so they will stick into the ground better.

Step 2: Step Two: Y's

Step Two: You want to find FOUR branches that are Y shaped. Four of your branches need to be Y shaped so you can lock them together to create the frame for your lean two!

Step 3: Step 3: Y Branches

Step three: Place your first Y shaped branch into the ground. Remember!!!! You need to point the branches so that they stick into the ground. After you have placed your first Y into the ground place your second Y on top. make sure the Y's are locking together and secured.

Step 4: Step 4: the Frame

Step Four: After you have your Four Y branches set up, you need to go find one large branch. Once you do that you will place the new branch in-between the Y branches.  ALSO! Find some big rocks and put them around each end of the branches. The rocks will create a wall and prevent the branches from tipping over.

Step 5: Step 5: LOGS, LOGS, LOGS

Step Five: Before you start putting sticks and branches on the back you need to find logs! Find FOUR LOGS and place the in the back, front, and the two sides. This Will create a stronger frame and a few places to sit while in the Lean Two.

Step 6: Step 6:The Body

Step Six: After you have put your frame all together its time to put the back on! Gather a lot of sticks and start placing them carefully on the back of your lean two.

Step 7: Step 7: Bark

Step Seven: If you can find some bark and place it along with the sticks and branches.

Step 8: Step 8: Clear Out the Lean Two!

Step eight:  Clear out the leaves and sticks inside your lean two. It will make a lot more fun to sit in.

This should be called a lean-to. Since nobody's really using the term 'lean-two' for anything yet, I declare 'lean-two' to refer to structures like those sidewalk advertising signs, composed of two flat faces leaning on and supported by each other.

Good instructable. If you want it weather resistant pile all those leaves on top to stop rain/snow getting through. You can use cross pieces on the roof to help hold the leaves up. Of course a tarp is better, if you have one. And if you don't have a sleeping mat the leaves can actually help insulate you from the ground by piling more inside.

Thank you for this! I've always wanted to know how to make something like this, just in case.
But, for future reference, maybe explain what it is, or give a completed picture first. I wasnt sure what you were making until about Step 3.
