Step 1: Strong Axles
The first step to high strength is to make the axles strong. One longer piece of knex is better than two shorter peices with a join.
Step 2: Strong Front Frame
Make a strong frame on the front to prevent damage from front impacts.
Step 3: Strong Rear
Make a strong rear to protect from rear crashes.
Step 4: Strong Sides
Strengthen the sides to protect the main frame of the car. Most people forget the sides and pay the price later.
Step 5: Strength Bars
Build strength into the car by putting horizontal and vertical bars inside the frame. This stops the car from being crushed.
