How to Enter Pets Month

Intro: How to Enter Pets Month

March is Pets Month at Instructables!

Do you keep animals as pets? Then you've got a pet project, skill, or trick to share.
Our pets need food, a home, and a lot of love. We try to make them comfy and happy, but no matter how many books you read there's a lot to learn from experience.

So what are your tips and tricks for your pets? How do you care for them, make them feel like they're a part of the family, or even just keep them safe and snug? What have you built for your pet?

Share a pet-themed Instructable this month and you could win an Instructables t-shirt or a patch.

Rats! I guess I published my Chameleon Habitat a month too early. (Then again, I started this one for the laser cutter contest, and published it a month too late for that one!)
"If you've already submitted a suitable Instructable, make another version with improvements and submit it to the contest" Seems like you can enter it!

You can do a plant one: "All animals are eligible; people, plants, and rocks are not."

"people, plants and rocks are not." Sheesh, learn some english grammar- The ; makes it act like a separate sentence (like having a period there)

Has anyone an idea on how to automatically open and close the gate of a hen house? I'm not everyday at home, resulting the chickens sleeping in their open hen house where foxes and dogs easily can get in. I've thought of working with the sun (LR), but then when you have a cloudy day the chickens can't get out or worse they can't get in anymore. Maybe 1 of you clever guys or girls have a simple yet good design. Thanks. Michel Portugal
