Introduction: How to Make a Drinking Glass From a Beer Bottle

This is a simple and quick task to do

Step 1: Materials

Beer bottle
Lighter fluid
Paracord
Lighter
Ice cold water

Step 2:

Tie string tight on bottle

Step 3:

Take string off bottle

Step 4:

Pore the lighter fluid in a glass

Step 5:

Soak string in glass that has lighter fluid

Step 6:

Light the string after you put it back on the glass

Step 7:

Hold over sink and twist bottle until fire dies down

Step 8:

Pore cold water on bottle

Step 9:

This is the fire when its going down

Step 10:

Sand the edge then your done

    Great idea! I've never seen it done this way before. Do you get a cleaner break than using a glass cutter?

    yes just make sure that the string Is on the bottle straight and it should come out pretty straight.

    Another thing you can use other than lighter fluid is acetone nail polish remover :). I'm not sure if non-acetone remover would work but they are both highly flammable. When I made these I found that it was eaisier filling my sink with ice cold water and dipping the bottles in. Great ible!

    the heat shock going from hot heated by the string on fire. to cold under the tap causes the glass to fracture cleanly along the heat line.
