This will show you step by step how to make a slide show using iMovie.

Step 1: Opening IMovie

Open iMovie and and click the "add" button shown below. Choose a theme, name your project, and click CREATE.

Step 2: Choosing Your Photos

Go onto Google and choose some photos that coordinate with your theme and title. Drag them onto your desktop. them, drag them onto the second photo that is shown below.
Ex: basketball

Step 3: Adding Sound Effects and Music

Find the icons shown in the picture below, and click the music note. If you don't know what that looks like its the first one on the left. After clicking on it, it will show you a list of sound effects (If you click on either of the choices that are shown in the second photo below). Choose some, and drag them onto your photos where you want them. You can adjust the sound effects by double clicking them once they are inserted.

if you decide that you want music, you can click on the iTunes listing that is under the sound effect choices, and you can drag music from your iTunes library.
