Intro: How to Pick Locks

A quick guide on how to pick locks easily
WARNING THIS IS Illegal

Step 1: Apperatus

First you need:
Metal hair clips
Mechanic's pins (these work best) or a fine screwdriver (flat)
Screwdriver Flat head
Pliers
Head torch or flash light (optional to find the pins)

Step 2: Apparatus Assembly

Now once you got them together you need to change their shape so it fits it the lock

First get the mechanic's pin and with a screwdriver bend it in to a 90 degrees angle
To look like the one in the picture below

Now the hair clip, on the end of the hair clip there is a small piece of wax or plastic you need to take it off with the screwdriver then flatten it out and that is the apparatus finished.

Step 3: Breaking in Training

Now you need how to use the instruments;
The pin is called a torque wrench and it is placed at the bottom of the lock.and you turn it clock wise but not to hard as the wrench can bend and snap rendering getting useless.
Now get the Hair clip and with the flat end put it in at the top where the pins are (use picture below) now push the pic above the tumbler but don't worry as soon as the pis go above the tumbler they stay there as there is pressure from you turn the torque wrench.

Bear in mind that lock picking takes AGES especially for beginners according to the anarchists cookbook(I don't own a copy of this awesome book)  a beginner could take up to 4 hours to learn their first time and the average time to pick a lock for a professional is about 15 minutes IF they are lucky and very good
it is possible to do it in 3 seconds but you'd have to know that specific lock.
