In this tutorial I will describe how you can join a minecraft multiplayer server in 3 easy steps. It's a very simple process and easy to remember.

Step 1: Step 1: Find a Minecraft Server

There are many ways to find a minecraft server, you can use a minecraft server list or you can ask your friend for the server IP to their server, if you're not sure of an IP use the example in this tutorial or search google for one. A server IP will look something like mc.wubcraft.com or 125.125.125.125 and it may have a port on the end which will look something like :25565

Step 2: Step 2: Add the Minecraft Server

Once you open minecraft you'll have the option to click Multiplayer, go ahead and do that. You'll then see an option to "Add Server". Click that button and you should be presented with the following screen, fill out the information as follows with your server address and hit "Done".

Step 3: Step 3: Join the Minecraft Server

Once the server has successfully been added to your list you can then join the server by simply double clicking on the server. You can now play with friends and enjoy multiplayer!
