This knot will not slip no matter what. It is used to join two pieces of rope together.

This is pretty simple.

Step 2: Step Two

Now make a loop.

Step 3: Step Three

Insert the ends of the rope into the loop.

Step 4:

Now pull tight.

Ta-da! You're done.

    I believe this is more commonly known as a Zepplin bend. It is an excellent knot and deserves to be better known.
