Step-by-step instructions to make a fun, creative version of rice crispy treats!
1/2 cup butter
10 oz marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter
4 cups rice crispy cereal
2 cups crushed pretzels
2 cups chocolate chips
medium or large pot
NOTE:chocolate drizzle on top is optional. Additional add-ins and toppings can be added as desired. For a thicker rice crispy treat, use a 9x9 pan instead of a 13x9.

Step 1: Prepare Pan and Ingredients
To begin, spray glass or metal pan with cooking spray. Then locate all necessary ingredients and measure out as indicated above.
Step 2: Crush Pretzels
Put pretzels in a plastic bag and roll, smash, or break pretzels into smaller pieces. Set aside.
Step 3: Melt Butter, Marshmallows and Peanut Butter
In a pot, melt butter and marshmallows on medium heat until mixed. Then add peanut butter and continue mixing until melted.
Step 4: Mix Dry Ingredients
Turn off stove and immediately remove pot from heat. Quickly add rice crispy cereal and pretzels. Stir until well covered in peanut butter marshmallow mixture.
Step 5: Pour in Pan
Take greased 13x9 pan and pour in rice crispy mixture. Pat down evenly for uniform thickness.
Step 6: Optional Chocolate Drizzle
Finally, microwave chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir chocolate chips and microwave for another 30 seconds, in 15 second increments to prevent burning. Then use spoon to drizzle over the rice crispy treats.
Step 7: Finished!
Allow to cool for 2-5 minutes. cut into squares and enjoy!
