How To: Backyard Fort

So you want to build a backyard fort...

Step 1: STEP 1: Materials

What you will need:

- a backyard
- clothes line
- 4 to 5 ladders
- ropes
- cinder blocks or weights(to weigh down the cloth)
- large pinned cloth*

  *Putting together Large pinned cloth:

  You will need:

- a box of safety pins
- 15 to 20 pieces of cloth
- a set of clothespin (for extra stability)

Step 2: STEP 2: Putting Together Large Pinned Cloth

You will need:

- a box of safety pins
- 15 to 20 pieces of cloth (towels, bedsheets, etc.)
- a set of clothespin (for extra stability)

Piece together fabric with safety pins forming a large rectangle.
Tip: extra hands will speed up this process!

Step 3: STEP 3: Assembling the Ladders

You will need:

- 4-6 ladders (preferably varying lengths short and long ladders)
- ropes (for security)

Place Shorter ladder as a base for the two longer ladders to sit horizontally on. Apply this process for the remaining ladders. For maximum security, tie ropes around meeting points of the ladders. Ladders should sit underneath the clothesline.

Step 4: STEP 4: Putting It All Together

Place Large pinned cloth on top of clothes line and secure it with clothespins. Have the cloth fall even on both sides of the clothes line over the ladders. Weigh down the remaining cloth with cinder blocks to prevent the wind from coming through.

Step 5: LAST STEP: Additions

Christmas lights, coffee tables, chairs, food...

And most importantly...

Enjoy folks :)
