About: I use gardening as a way to enjoy life. I have over 250 HD garden videos on my YouTube Channel. I invite you to visit and dig around. Good luck with your season!

This video presents  a quick and easy standard method of transplanting tomatoes into the garden. There are four main points to keep in mind and use.

1.  Loosen the soil to a depth of 12 inches or more
2. Ammend the soil as needed with organic matter (about a shovel full)
3. Remove the bottom third of leaves from the tomato and gently loosen the root-ball
4. Plant the bottom 1/3 of the tomato plant below the soil
