Embroidery floss or yarn must be bought depending on the design and colors that you want to use. Try to use a loose fabric for the first work for gaining confidence with embroidery stitches.
If you have chosen a fabric of brocade, stretch it and hold it tight, use the embroidery hoop. If the fabric is not stretched tightly the embroidery will become weak as you snug down the stitches.
