How to Enable USB Debugging on Different Android Versions

Generally speaking, we need to enable the USB debugging feature when we have to apply some external applications on our Android phones such as Samsung, HTC, Huawei etc. But as we all know, different Android version have different interface, here are the simple steps show you how to achieve that separately.

Step 1: For Android 2.3 or Earlier

1. Tap "Settings"

2. Click "Applications"

3. Click "Development"

4. Check "USB debugging"

Step 2: For Android 3.0 to 4.1

1. Tap "Settings"

2. Click "Developer options"

3. Check "USB debugging"

Step 3: For Android 4.2 or Newer

1. Tap "Settings"

2. Click "About Phone"

3. Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode"

4. Back to "Settings"

5. Click "Developer options"

6. Check "USB debugging"
