Introduction: How to Make 3 Ingredient Maltesers Fudge
This Microwave Maltesers Fudge requires just 3 ingredients to make & 5 minutes of your time. Seriously, I’m not kidding! It really is bloomin’ delicious too. Super creamy fudge crammed full of crunchy Maltesers. Little bites of actual heaven. How much more convincing do you need?
Here is what you will need to make 36 large bite size pieces.
- 400g Milk Chocolate
- 1 x 397g Tin of Condensed Milk
- 400g Maltesers
- 20cm (8″) Square Baking Tin or Silicone Pan
- Large Microwavable Bowl
Step 1: Making the Fudge
Line your baking tin and set to one side. If you’re using a silicon pan you don’t need to line it.
Break the chocolate into a large microwavable bowl and pour in the condensed milk. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds then give it a good stir. Repeat heating in 10 second intervals until it’s all melted and smooth.
Step 2: Add the Maltesers
Working quickly, tip in all bar about 15-20 Maltesers and give it a mix. (It will start to set very swiftly!)
Step 3: Nearly There...
Tip the whole lot into your prepared/silicone tin and level out with a spatula.
Take those 15-20 Maltesers you reserved earlier and press them randomly into the top.
Pop into the fridge to set for at least 4 hours or overnight. Once firm, remove from the tin & slice into 36 pieces. (6 x 6 grid.)
Step 5: Storage
Store in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 5 days. In my opinion it is best eaten on the day you cut it but only because when air gets to the inside of a Malteser, it goes a bit sticky & gooey. Any whole Maltesers that are within the fudge will remain very crunchy though. Which more than makes up for any stickiness!
