The ingredients that you’ll be needing are :
- All-purpose flour.
- Brown sugar.
- Baking soda.
- Chocolate chips.
- Vanilla extract.
You’ll also need :
- A whisk.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients.
Mix 2-cups of flour , 3/4 teaspoon of salt , and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in a medium sized bowl.
Mix well and set aside the bowl for later.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients.
Melt 3/4 cups of butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Place the melted butter in a large mixing bowl and place in 1/2 cup of sugar , 1 cup of brown sugar , and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in.
Mix well and then add 1 full egg.
Step 4: Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients Together.
Take the bowl of dry ingredients and pour them into the bowl of wet ingredients. Mix them well until you have a dough-like texture.
Once you have your dough texture , pour chocolate chips into the dough and fold them into it.
Step 5: Wrap the Dough Around Oreos and Place in Oven.
Take some of your dough and gently place some on top of an oreo. Repeat the same process but on the bottom section. Be sure to fully wrap the oreo in the dough , but be careful or else the oreo will break.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Place your sheet of cookies in the oven for 14-15 minutes. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
Step 6: Take Out Cookies.
Take the cookies out of the oven and wait 1 minute for them to cool down. Once they have cooled , enjoy.
