Introduction: How to Make Egg Tarts

In this presentation I am going to show you how to make egg tarts.

Step 1: Preheat Oven

First thing that you need to do is preheat your oven at 450 degrees.

Step 2: Ingredients

The ingredients that you need are 3 eggs, Vanilla Extract, Puff Pastry Sheets, Evaporated Milk, Sugar, and 2% milk.

Step 3: Materials

The materials that you need are

  1. 2 medium sized mixing bowls
  2. a whisk
  3. a sifter
  4. a cookie cutter
  5. 1 whole cup
  6. 1 tablespoon
  7. 1 teaspoon
  8. 1/8 teaspoon.

Step 4: Mixing the Ingredients

First crack the 3 eggs into a bowl. After that add 3 teaspoons of evaporated milk, 6 tablespoons of sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 cup of milk. Once you add all the those into a bowl, start mixing until all ingredients are mixed together.

Step 5: After Mixing the Ingredients

Here's what your batter should look like.

Step 6: Sifting the Batter

Once you are done mixing the batter, sift the batter into another bowl just to make sure the batter is mixed well.

Step 7: Getting the Puff Pastry Sheet Ready

To do this step, lay out the puff pastry sheet out then cut it with a cookie cutter, after that carefully place the pastry sheet on top of the muffin pan. After that, take a small cup like a shot glass and carefully press down on the pastry sheet and go in a circle motion to flatten the bottom out. Once you are done doing that, take a fork and make holes in the bottom so that it puffs while baking.

Step 8: Pouring the Batter

Pour the batter in just a little below the top of the pastry sheet. Once done, put the muffin pan in the oven for about 15 to 16 minutes.

Step 9: Taking the Muffin Pan Out and Enjoy

Once your egg tarts are done let it sit for about 2 minutes to cool off. Once it cools, enjoy your egg tarts.

This looks really tasty. I am definitely going to try this as soon as I get all my kitchen stuff moved to my new apartment.
