Introduction: How to Make GREEN Fire From Materials at Wal-Mart!

With this simple tutorial you can make bright, pure green fire from materials easily found at Wal-Mart! This stuff is great for eerie displays and special effects.

Step 1: Obtaining Your Materials

The only materials you need for making green fire are HEET Antifreeze and Boric Acid. The HEET antifreeze is usually around $0.75 a bottle, and the Boric Acid is about $2.50 a bottle. One 8oz bottle of boric acid is enough to create 8 gallons of green fire solution!

Step 2: Making the Solution

Take a glass jar and fill it with some HEET antifreeze. Fill it with about the amount that you think you will use, because if you try to store this stuff it will just evaporate! Take a spoonful of Boric Acid and add it to the antifreeze. Stir it up nicely and make sure all of the powder is dissolved. This is it! Just let it sit for a few seconds to let it totally dissolve. We are now ready for my favorite step, playing with the green fire!

Step 3: Playing With Fire!

Now that you have your solution ready, you can start playing with it! Pour some onto concrete and light it, the flame will be pure blue-green. For fun, you can put it in a spray bottle to make miniature green fireballs. Also, a great effect for Halloween is to fill shallow tins with this solution and placing them along your driveway for an eerie effect for all of the trick or treaters that come your way, the possibilities for this solution are endless.
