Hello everybody, for Halloween, Isabel and I wanted to make a pair of earrings with spiders in a web. All you need to make the earrings are:

2 used Linizio lungo coffee pods

2 used Ristretto coffee pods

2 earring hooks

2 jeans rivets

A spider die or bead ( we used Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4PK - Trick or Treat)

Big shot

Scissors

Round nosed pliers

Step 1: Watch the Video on How to Make These Spider Earrings

Watch this video to make sure you do not miss a step.

Step 2: Cut Your Coffee Pod

To make the outside of your spider web, you need to cut off the top of your coffee pod. Fold the capsule in 4 and cut where folded. Hereafter fold this pieces again and cut. Than cut these pieces in the middle.

Step 3: Fold the Pieces

Fold each piece inward until you have something that resembles a sun. Than fold each piece over again. Cut off the excess.

Step 4: Prepare Your Outer Piece

Take your prepared circle and perforate in the middle of each folded part. Make sure that the coffee pod is pierced entirely.

Step 5: Create Your Web

Take a piece of metal thread. Fix the thread by moving through the first hole twice before continuing. Hereafter move your thread to the hole accros. Than move one over and continue until you have filled all of them.

Step 6: Cut Out the Spiders and Finish Your Earrings

In our case we use a spider die, so we can fix it to our web. However if you have a spider bead you could let it dangle in front of the web.

Use a piece of coffee pod (bottom and top cut off) and your spider die with the big shot machine. Cut 4 spiders in total. Take a belt perforator and pierce the spiders. Add a jeans rivet and fix it to the web. Hereafter add the jump rings and earring hooks and your earrings are done. We hope you like are Instructable. If you do, please vote for us.
