Ingredients for Fajita Steak Tacos
2 lbs of skirt steak
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp Cayenne pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
Step 1: Prep Your Pickled Onions
Start off by thinly slicing your onion and make sure you separate them and put them in some sort of bowl preferably something with a top to shake our mix but if not no biggie. Pick your favorite pickled jalapenos and pour the liquid until onions are just about covered. Squeeze in a whole lime crack some black pepper or in my case ALOT of black pepper and mix. Once mixed well put in the fridge so the onions can start to marinate in the liquid.
Step 2: Prep Your Meat
Grab your beautiful skirt steak and cube it up into small pieces you can cut any size as long as the shape and sizes of the cut are relatively the same but I do prefer smaller because it makes a better filling for your taco. Once all cut up and your seasonings and mix the meat
In a nice heavy bottom, skillet heat up any oil of your choice and sear the beef until nice golden brown and crispy , this way you can have a nice bite of your tacos.
Step 4: Heat Up the Tortillas Aka Gods Golden Rounds!
Now for this step, I like to use some of the fat from the steak and lightly dip or coat the tortillas and then put them in the griddle pan promise you will love me.
Step 5: Assemble Your Beauties (tacos)
Spoon some beef, sprinkle some cilantro, top with onions a slice of avocado and sprinkle or crumble on some queso fresco!
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Don't forget the Hot sauce !!
