Today my daughter and I are showing you how to make wood, plastic, and even glass look like metal that has been aged. We are using Dixie Bell Patina paints and sprays!

Step 1: You Can Use Anything and Make It Look Like Metal!
We used cardboard signs from hobby lobby for this project, but you can use glass,wood and even styrofoam!!
Step 2: It's All About the Paint!
The paint is what makes this project super fun and easy!! We used Dixie Belle Paint Company patina paint. It actually has metal in the paint that really chemically reacts with the patina spray.
All you have to do is apply the paint. We used a dabing style application.
Step 3: Let's Add Patina!
Using the DB patina spray, while the paint is still wet, you spray it on. Simple as that. Be sure to watch the video for all of the juicy details!
