Introduction: How to Make Venezuelan Cachapas
The cachapas is a typical dish of Venezuela these are made from sweet corn.
For this recipe we will need:
- 450g of corn in grain.
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 100ml milk
- 1 tablespoon butter.
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal.
- Some soft cheese in our case mozzarella cheese.
Step 1: Liquefy Corn
We combine in a blender the choice ingredients: corn, milk and spoonfuls of sugar, salt and cornmeal.
After the liquefy until the elements, to add the butter and blend a little more to join. Even with the elements in the blender add the eggs and continue the process of liquefying.
And together the ingredient continue to the next step.
Step 2: Cook
in a hot pan will spread with butter. Add the mixture into the pan, distributing evenly. When the mixture is formed hole it's time to flip. After cooking on both sides and will be ready.
Now the only thing left to do is add a little butter and cheese to eat.
