How to Make Voltage Controller Circuit Using 13003 Transistor

Hii friend,

Today I am going to make a circuit of Voltage controller that will give output variable voltage power supply.When we make electronic projects then we need different voltages to operate the circuit.That's why I am going to make this circuit.

Step 1: Take All Components As Shown Below

Components required -

(1.) Transistor - 13003 x1 (This transistor we can get from old cfl.This is NPN Transistor.)

(2.) Potentiometer - 100K x1 (We can also use 47K Potentiometer.)

(3.) Multimeter - (For testing purpose)

(4.) Battery - 9V x1 (Here I am taking 9V battery for demonstration purpose.I will use it as input power supply)

(5.) Battery clipper x1

(6.) Connecting Wires (Here I took wires with clipper because I have to check voltages with the multimeter)

Step 2: Pins of NPN Transistor-13003

This picture shows the pins of Transistor 13003.This is an NPN Transistor.

Pin-1 is Base,

Pin-2 is Collector and

Pin-3 is Emmiter of this transistor.

Step 3: Solder Base Pin of Transistor

Firstly we have to solder Base pin of the transistor to middle pin of the Potentiometer as solder in the picture.

Step 4: Solder Battery Clipper Wire

Next Solder Input power supply wire.Here I will give 9V DC Input power supply from the Battery.

NOTE : We can give Maximum 12V DC Input Power supply to this circuit.

Solder +ve wire of input power supply to pin-1 of the potentiometer and

solder -ve wire of input power supply to emmiter pin of the transistor as you can see in the picture.

Step 5: Connect Output Power Supply Wire

Next we have to solder output power supply wire to the circuit.

Solder +ve wire of output power supply to pin-1 of the potentiometer and

solder -ve wire of output power supply to collector pin of the transistor as you can see in the picture.

Step 6: Testing

Now our circuit is ready so give input power supply to the circuit and connect digital multimeter to output power supply wire for measuring it's different voltages.

~ As you can see in the picture all three images shows different voltages.We can change voltages by rotating the knob of potentiometer.
