Step 1: Ingredients
for this dessert you will need:
- 4 eggs
- 2 condensed milk cans
- a stick of butter
Step 2: Separating and Pouring
First, you wanna separate your egg yolks from your egg whites.
Then, you pour the yolk in a separate bowl.
Next, you would put 2 cans of condensed milk with the four eggs.
Lastly, Mix up the the two ingredients until it is yellow and there are no more egg yolk chunks left.
Step 3: Pan Work
Then, you want to put a stick of butter in a pan until it fully melts down.
After, you would pour the custard mixture in the pan and mix for 15-20 mins on low heat.
Step 4: Progression
In the last 15 mins there is a noticeable change in the mixture. Its has began to thicken up but, almost ready to eat.
Step 5: Finished Product
After 20 mins, the yema was about ready to serve and we decided to place the yema in a glass container and put it in the fridge overnight to cool.
Occasionally people tend to put some nuts and other toppings in there. They also served it by rolling into balls and wrapping them in plastic wraps. Its also fun to eat it with just a spoon or a toothpick/fork.
