This indestructible will demonstrate how to create a giraffe balloon animal. You can use this new found skill to impress friends and family at parties.

Materials Needed:

Balloons specifically for balloon animals (found at most party supply stores)
Small air pump
Black marker

Step 1: Inflate the Yellow Balloon.

Securely place balloon around nozzle of air pump and securely keep the balloon attached to the pump. Inflate the balloon, leaving about 2 - 3 inches of un-inflated balloon at the end. Tie off the balloon by with a simple knot by wrapping the end of the balloon around your finger and pulling it through the other side.

Step 2: Make the Nose and Part of the Ears of the Giraffe

3 inches from the knot of the balloon, twist the balloon 2 or 3 times. This creates 2 sections of the balloon. Then create another section 1.5 inches long.

Step 3: Finish the Ears of the Giraffe

As shown in the picture above, fold the balloon from the last tie-off you just made. Now twist the 1.5 inch section and the other side together to create the two ears.

Step 4: Make the Neck and Part of the Front Legs

8 - 9 inches from the head, twist again creating the neck. Next, create a 3-4 inch section after the tie-off.

Step 5: Finish the Front Legs

Fold the balloon from the last section created in the previous step. As shown in the picture above, tie the two sections together finishing the front legs.

Step 6: Make the Body and Part of the Legs

From the front legs, create a 2-3 inch section for the body. Next create one of the back legs by creating another 3-4 section. Try and make this section the same length as the front legs.

Step 7: Finsh the Legs and Make the Tail

As shown in the picture above, take the remaining end of the balloon and fold it together with section behind it. Next, twist the two sections together creating the back legs and tail.
