Introduction: How to Make a Movie Theater for Toys!

About: I love crafting, like stuff for toys. I also love baking, and I find many great recipes on here. That's all I have to say, cause' I can't think of anything else :)

This is my tutorial on how to make a movie theater for toys! With a real-working movie screen!I set mine up on a table. So, thank you for viewing! Enjoy!

Step 1: Make the Ticket-taker Stand

First, build a cube with foam blocks ( I got some at the dollar tree, a long time ago, so i'm not sure they still sell them)

or, if you don't have any, use a dollhouse table.

Step 2: Make the Tickets

Cut out a bunch of same-size tickets, or you can get crazy! Anyway, then decorate them, and put them on the ticket stand, whichever one you are using.

Step 3: Put Up a Promotional Poster

Just like in real movie theaters, you can also put up a poster promoting a special movie premiere! Take a mini poster and use a rolled-up piece of tape to stick it to the stand. Then, put the stand where you want it, and maybe add a little picture you drew yourself to the mix.

Step 4: Make a Bathroom

Take a dollhouse bathroom set and place it where you want.

Step 5: Make the Concession Stand

Get a bunch of pretend food and put it on plates and bowls. If you don't have enough plates and bowls, get creative and put the food in pretend pots and pans and jars! Plus, get some cups. If you don't have enough, use cupcake wrappers!

Step 6: Make the Theater!

Take some foam blocks and build seats, or use a blanket.

Step 7: Make the Movie Screen

Take a tablet holder, and then put a speaker either in or behind it, so it'll really sound like a theater. Then put your tablet on the stand and set it in the middle of the theater.

Step 8: Make It Smell Good

Get a bunch of your favorite candles (No need to light them. They make the place smell good already!) and put them around the theater, you can hide them and/or put them in plain sight!

Step 9: Decorate!

I have a pretend fish tank from Discovery Kids, so I used it to decorate, but you can decorate how you want! For the movie premiere special, I used the poster and but some birthday balloons to decorate, because it goes good with the "birthday clown" theme, as seen on my poster. So, use whatever poster you want, and you can decorate the theater to relate to that poster, or mix it up!

Step 10: You Are Done!

Now all you need is to get the toys to go to the theater!(These are Star vs The Forces Of Evil paper dolls that I drew myself, in case you wondered what they were) You can use whatever kind of toys you want, though. So, thank you for viewing and I hope you liked it!
