Introduction: How to Make a Pair of Ninja Shuriken

About: Hey Im Daniel and Im 15-year-old guy who enjoys making things (especially pointy things). I started actually making stuff when I was like 10 but everything I made never really worked out, that was until I turn…

this is a tutorial i have made on how i made my first ever real project, these shuriken cost me nothing and are really easy so i recommend you give them a shot!! by the way video tutorial at the end

Step 1: Getting Materials and Getting a Design

so i started this project with this steel plate i found out in the paddock (its probably mild steel for those who care) and i cut it up into a section about 10cm x 10cm to fit my shuriken template, speaking of templates i grabbed this one online, you should have a look and find one that suits you.

Step 2: Hole Punching and Drilling

so i hole punched each place i was going to drill with a nail and made sure i got it in the exact centre, i then drilled out the hole carefully and slowly making sure that my drill bit didn't overheat, as you can see this is what it looks like

Step 3: Cutting and Shaping

so after all my holes have been drilled i moved onto cutting out the shuriken, i started by clamping them on my work bench then i got my angle grinder (you can use a hack saw) and cut the shape of the shuriken, this was quite easy as all the lines are straight

Step 4: Shining and Sharpening

so after the shuriken had been cut i then clamped them down and used a flap disk on my angle grinder( sand paper also does a good job)to remove rust and the paper template, also i used this opportunity to shine it up and remove built up scale. Then i powered up the bench grinder and added an edge to the shuriken to make them very pointy (mwhahaha) also a file does a good job at bevelling the edges

Step 5: Done!!!! Woohoo

this is pretty much all you need to do as you can see ive left this very basic and you can do various things to improve this but this is a fun weekend project pretty much anyone can do with a hacksaw and sandpaper

Step 6: Testing

if you look closely you will notice two shuriken in my dartboard, one of which destroyed part of my dartboard lol RIP

Step 7: A Lit Video I Made (my First Try at Editing Which I Shot on My Phone So Please Be Nice :) )

this is a video tutorial i made, lol not to sound needy but consider subscribing please XD
