How to Make a Side Braid

About: Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm a 12 year old maker in progress who loves chickens and sewing!

Today, I'm going show you how to braid your hair on the side of your head. It's SO simple!!!

Supplies:

  • Your hair
  • A brush
  • A ponytail holder

Step 1:

Brush your hair so there's no knots, and pull it all onto one side of your head.

Step 2:

Divide your hair into three parts. Take the piece all the way to the right, (the farthest away from your chin), and cross it over the middle piece, so the right strand is now in the middle. Take the piece all the way to the left, (next to your chin), and cross that piece over the middle strand so it's in the center.

Step 3:

Repeat step two until your hair is braided all the way down to the bottom, then secure it with the hair tie. Make sure there's about two inches underneath the hair tie. Now you're done! Please ask me any questions you have! Thanks!
