This is a tutorial on how to make a small paper boomerang. Paper crafts and K'nex building have always been my thing, so I thought about making an Instructable for this. Hope you guys like it, comment, and rate!

Step 1: Materials
-Index card (any size, but 5x3 inches is preferred for easier measuring)
-pencil (optional, use if you want to mark some measurements)
Step 2: Cutting
Cut around 1.75 inches from one end of the index card.
Step 3: Gluing
Glue around the general area of where it shows in the picture. If its not enough, You can put a bit more glue.
Step 4: Folding
Fold about a quarter of an inch up, and make sure to have a good fold. Then, fold inwards (the same direction) a second time, keeping the width of the fold the same. And fold it one last time.
Step 5: More Cutting
Cut the remaining part of the index card and make sure the glue is on the edge after you cut it, because it can't have any open flaps. Then, cut the corners of the boomerang as shown on the dotted line.
Step 6: Final Folds
You should draw a line for this part. Fold your boomerang so that the fold is on the line, as it is shown in the first picture. Once folded (picture 2), unfold it so that it is kinda bend from the fold (pictures 3 and 4).
Step 7: How to "Throw" It
It's better if the boomerang is dried for a minute from the glue. Place it on your left index finger, so that the fold is bending down on your finger (picture 1). The pictures should help. Then, flick the right side of the boomerang, as shown in pictures 2 and 3. When flicking, be sure to make your hand vertically, and the right side up. And, make sure that your fingernail hits the side of the boomerang, not under, otherwise it wouldn't work.
