Introduction: How to Make a Superfood Ginger Wellness Shot
With the new year and everyone trying to be healthy and trying to not get sick, I am sharing this Superfood Ginger Wellness Shot (there isn't any alcohol in it). I want to say that you can customize it by adding more or less of these ingredients. I was inspired to make my own ginger shot after visiting Hawaii last year with my family and being served this on the roadside of a fruit stand by an awesome hippie that had a bunch of homemade healthy stuff he was selling, he let us sample the ginger shot alongside a bunch of other goodies and this ginger shot stuck with me and I knew I had to make it once I got back to the mainland. Follow along as I make this easy Ginger Wellness Shot and watch the video, it is really easy!

Step 1: Ingredients
- 5 oz ginger or 3.5 oz pure ginger juice
- 8 lemons
- ½ - 1 cup honey
- 2 cups water
- Weight Converter (if you need help converting the measurements)
Step 2: Roll and Cut Lemons
Start off by rolling and cutting all the lemons in half.
Step 3: Squeezing the Lemons
Squeezing the lemons into a large pitcher that has a sieve on top to caught all the seeds. I used a fork to help get all the juices out of the lemons.
Step 4: Juice the Ginger
Next juice the ginger. You will need a juicer for this step, unfortunately I don't know another method of juicing the ginger.
Step 5: Add Ginger Juice to Lemon Juice
Add the ginger juice (I usually do not add the white stuff on the bottom) to the lemon juice. I used a sieve to get any extra pieces of ginger that the juicer missed.
Step 6: Add Water and Honey
Add in water and honey. Give this a good stir until everything is combined. Make any adjustments to your drink.
Step 7: Storage
You can add this to a mason jar and store this in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Step 8: Enjoy!
Enjoy a wellness shot! I like to drink this when I feel like I might be getting a cold or for over all wellness!
