How to Open a Jar Using Rubberbands

About: Garvey's Office Products is the largest family-owned office supply dealer in Illinois. We are the nice guys in office supplies!

We’re always on the lookout for alternative uses for office products. Here’s an easy kitchen hack that involves a stubborn jar and a couple of rubberbands!

Supplies:

Step 1: Grab Your Stubborn Jar and Two Rubberbands.

Grab two rubberbands. Place one at the top of the item you are trying to open, and one at the bottom.

Step 2: Use the Grip of the Bands to Open the Jar.

Use the grip of the rubberbands to open your item. Bonus lifehack: Jars are actually easier to open in warmer temperatures. So, next time you buy something akin to a jar of pickles, open it before putting it in the frig!
