Introduction: How to Prepare an Impressive Meal

This instructable will show you how to make a very tasty and very respectable meal in only 9 steps!

Step 1: You Will Need-
1/3 lb. Large Raw Shrimp
12 Oz. Ribeye Steak Cut
3 tbsp. Butter
1 Garlic Clove
Ground Pepper
Garlic and Herb Seasoning
Olive Oil
Ground Cumin
1/2 tbsp. Merlot

Step 2: First preperations need to be made, start by peeling ang chopping the Garlic into large pieces.

Step 3: Peel and devein (done by cutting open the back of the shrimp and removing the intestinal tract) the 1/3 lb. Shrimp. The left is what your shrimp should look like out of the store, the right is what they should look like after preperation.

Step 4: Mix 1 tbsp. butter with 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil, 4 shakes of Garlic and Herb Seasoning, and just a small dash of ground cumin in medium size pan on high. after the oil is hot add the garlic and reduce the heat to medium low.

Step 5: While the garlic is cooking, in a seperate pan flash cook the outside of the steak (high heat, about 30 seconds on each side), then reduce heat to medium low.

Step 6: Add fresh ground pepper, sea salt, and 1 tbsp. butter turning it every 4-5 minutes as the steak slow cooks (remember to poke holes in the steak with a knife so it cooks evenly!)

Step 7: Okay, now it's time to return to your garlic mix and add the shrimp. turn the heat to medium and cook the shrimp on each side 4 minutes. After both sides are opaque turn the heat to high and sautee until they are nicely browned. Set Aside.

Step 8: Return to your steak and add chopped mushrooms and about 1 tsp. of merlot red wine. Simmer until steak is cooked to liking.

Step 9: add a boiled or sauteed vegetable of your choice and serve, for this dish green beans or broiled banana squash go great!
