Step 1: Step 1: Delete Unnecessary Apps, Pictures, Emails
The first thing you should do is go through your phone and delete pictures you do not care for, apps you do not use, and old spam and emails. This will get rid of a lot of used up space. Don't be a Iphone hoarder!
Step 2: Step 2: Connect Iphone to Itunes
Connect your Iphone to your Itunes to note how much other data you have, and take some time to think about what you could have used your data on.
Step 3: Step 3: Back Up Iphone
Make sure you save 2 back ups for your Iphone on your computer. You don't want to lose your precious moments. You can do this by simply pressing back up Iphone.
Step 4: Step 4: Manage Music and Media
Manage your music and media on your Iphone, through your laptop. Select the music and videos you want on your laptop and manage space wisely.
Step 5: Step 5: Restore Iphone
Once you have carefully chosen your media, restore your Iphone. Restoring your Iphone will clear all data on the phone, and return it to it's factory settings.
Step 6: Step 6: Set Up Iphone
Select a language and set your new password. Go onto your laptop and upload your latest back up onto your Iphone and wait for the uploading process to end.
Step 7: Step 7: Sync
Sync your managed media onto your Iphone, try it out and see if any messages pop up about storage.
Step 8: Step 8: Download Omni Disk Sweeper
Omni disk Sweeper is a great app on laptops that allows you to search through your files on your phone and laptop and it tells you how much data is in each files. Delete the unneeded large files and move on.
Step 9: Step 9: Go Buy a Phone With More Space
If you can't seem to keep your other data low, and continue to receive a full storage message, guess what? I think its time for you to upgrade your phone.
Step 10: Step 10: Other Data
Other data consists of many things and builds up everyday. this is only a apple problem, but here are some of the things that are " other data" .
