For example, the least expensive package with my provider had everything I wanted except for the E! channel. So I found their app and downloaded it to my Apple TV so I can watch what I want, when I want. You can use channel apps (usually free), Netflix ($7.99-11.99 per month), Hulu ($7.99 per month), and more to watch what you want even if you had to cut a few channels.

Actually calling anyone may seem strange these days, but it will be well worth it when you're looking to get the best price on your cable service! Give your provider of choice a call to chat with a representative. Ask about special offers and deals that may not be listed on the site. This will also be a great time to discuss your options for bundling to save on a combined cable/internet package.
