About: Weird guy. Kind of big. Professional upright bass player, computer programmer, and video gamer.

As Windows 10 got released last month, there have been many questions on how to do certain things in it. For example, how to change default programs. I will be demonstrating how to do that in this tutorial.

NOTE: I will be assuming that you have access to an adequate computer running Windows 10. Make sure you are logged in before starting.

Step 1: Open Settings

Click the start menu at bottom left corner of your screen. From there, click on settings.

Step 2: Navigate to System

After clicking settings in the previous step, a new window should've opened up. From this Window, click the System icon.

Step 3: Navigate to Default Apps

After clicking the System icon in the previous step, the window should've changed to something different. From this new window, click on the Default Apps option down towards the left side of the window.

Step 4: Change Default Apps

After clicking the default apps option from the previous step, the window should've changed again. This new window is the default apps window. From here you can change all of your Windows 10 default apps. At the very bottom of the window there are more advanced options for advanced users. Be careful when changing these settings since misusing them may cause some problems with your computer and its usability.
