How to Do the Ian Knot, for a Fast Shoelace Tie

The purpose of this instructable is to show you a very quick way to tie your shoelaces.

Step 1: Step 1

Hold the shoelaces like the image above. You will be holding the shoelaces in a opposite way of each other.

Step 2: Step: 2

You are going to put the lace that you are holding on your right thumb through the loop of the left. Then you put the lace that you are holding on your left thumb through the loop of the right.

Step 3:

Then you grab both loops from each end and pull through to make the quick and easy Ian knot.
