How to Electrolysis

First of all thank you for my work on a concern to see everyone's comments and suggestions I am very happy.
Before someone asked me how electrolysis, so this time I will tell you specifically how electrolysis.

PS:Electrolysis will produce chlorine, chlorine is a toxic gas, although chlorine soluble in water, but there was still a small amount of chlorine leak, so be sure to get the job done well ventilated place.

Materials and tools
-Electrolysis requires objects (must be metal)
-A non-conductive containers
-Mobile phone charger
-Brass rod (if not, can also be used with other conductive metal substitute)
-Transparent glue or sticky notes (waterproof and non-conductive adhesive tape)

Step 1: Job Preparation(1):Brine

Continue to boil the water, add salt, until the salt is no longer dissolved.

Step 2: Job Preparation(2):Carving Patterns

With waterproof tape (sticky) will be wrapped up parts of electrolysis.
Waterproof adhesive tape in a desired pattern drawn.
Pattern with a knife hollow carved out. (To be carved out, there is no place to be waterproof tape will be wrapped electrolysis)

PS:Need not be the place electrolysis must wrapped, can not have bubbles, electrolysis can not come into contact with water.

Step 3: Job Preparation(3):Electrolysis Tools

Cut off the charger interface, two separate wires, stripping out the copper wire inside to find the positive and negative .
(if you do not know which is the positive and negative ends can be energized simultaneously into the water, fizzy a termination rod, one end of the bubble does not take the article to electrolysis.)

Step 4: Initiation of the Electrolysis

Wires will be connected and turned brass wire rods into parts while the concentration of saturated brine, and then energized.
Here is the cell phone charger so the power is relatively small, the progress will be slow, if I can use high-power DC transformer, then the electrolysis time will be shortened, but requires a larger container, otherwise it will burn down transformer.

There will be generated during the electrolysis residue, brass rods have bubbles, water will become blurred, every 20 minutes or cut off the power, remove the parts cleaning, electrolysis progress for all to see, if the error as soon as possible to make up.
Repeat 4-5 times electrolysis is complete.

PS: Be sure to power off before cleaning parts! All the above steps to implement in well ventilated areas, preferably wear a mask!

Step 5: Post-processing

The electrolysis finished part is removed from the wire clean, tear waterproof adhesive tape can be obtained after electrolysis patterns.

Brine electrolysis chlorine containing toxic substances, not suitable for reservations, please handled properly.

Step 6: Additional

Electrolysis works show how the rest of the.

There is a method used to display the pattern is somewhat different (black background parts), here is not in water paint, but it seems that the effect is not good waterproof tape.

End of the story, thank you for watching! ! !

Even though English is not your first language, your instructable was very clear and easy to follow. You make electrolysis look easy enough for me to try. That knife is beautiful! Did you make it? I too make knives, and will use the electrolysis to etch my initials into knives that I make.

Thank you for watching, the knife is i do
If you have any do not understand you can ask me, I will reply as soon as possible.

You write my language much better than I write yours, I assure you. Thank you for putting so much effort into this.
I didn't ever think that I could do electolysis etching at home. You have inspired me. Great work

    Thanks for your reply!
I have been worried about other people can not read what I wrote, and if there are other opinions is anything unclear, please ask, I will try to express clearly!

I need to try this. Simple technique, great results.

But your spelling could use some improvement - English is not your first language, I guess. Maybe you could write it in your native language and have someone translate it for you, making the instructable bilingual?

English is not my first language, my English is not very good, very sorry for the inconvenience caused by your reading.
If you do not know what steps, I will try to use your method once again be able to read instructions. The next opportunity I'll try to make dual subtitles.
