How to Hang a Projector Screen

About: We are a new 10,000 sq. ft. makerspace in Portland, OR at 7600 N. Interstate Ave with a wood shop, craft lab, hackerspace, tiny home, garden, and electronics lab for the community.

Hanging a projector screen is very straight forward. Add this to your shop, living room, or bedroom! Simply screw a 3" long screw in to the wall at your desired height and preferably in to a stud in the wall. Attach one side of the projector screen to the screw in the wall and then raise the other side to be level with the floor using a bubble level tool to make sure that it is level. Mark the location for the second screw with a pen inside the mounting hole and then install the second screw on the marked location. Push the mounting hole over the screw and push down to lock it in place.

This Projector Screen is very useful for presentations in our new makerspace! It was actually such a large projector screen that we decided to only pull it down about 2/3 of the way down for optimal viewing. The projector screen makes the images much more bright and sharper than just projecting on to a white textured wall.

Congratulations! You installed a projector screen!

The projector screen we used can be found here:
