Things needed:
~ Money
~ Screwdriver
~ RAM Module

BEFORE YOU START IT IS IMPORTANT TO GROUND YOUR SELF FIRST OR WEAR AN ANTI-STATIC WRIST BAND SO THAT
YOU WON'T DAMAGE YOUR PC!

****If you don't have a wristband, you are not necessarily out of luck. Assuming that your PC is grounded, you can ground yourself by just keeping one hand in contact with the bare metal frame (not a painted or coated surface) of the computer case. Keep the PC power cord plugged in to a (3-prong) grounded outlet and turn off the rocker switch on the back of the power supply. If the power supply does not have a switch on the back, this won't work, however. Never work on a PC with the power on. In that case, you should buy an anti-static band or try another method of grounding.****

Steps:
STEP 1:  Identify and buy your desired memory card.
TIPS:
~  Find out first how much memory you need OR want for a comfortable experience on the computer.
~ Verify whether you need a DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 type of RAM module. This is crucial since each type is built differently from each other and fits only to a specific slot.
~  Paying a few dollars more to buy RAM from a reliable manufacturer like Crucial or Kingston is usually worthwhile, as RAM quality isn't the place to save a few bucks.

STEP 2: Open your CPU using the screwdriver. Start off by removing the screws located at the back of the CPU.

STEP 3: Place the RAM module into the memory card slot.

STEP 4: Place the CPU cover back then screw it into place.

LASTLY, enjoy your newly installed RAM.
