Intro: How to Juggle a Three Ball Cascade
I am very interested in juggling. I learned how to juggle by myself using this technique. This is very simple and easy to learn, i learned in one afternoon.
I will not be able to get a video or pictures of me juggling, because connections to slow to upload, so I put a link on the last step for you.
Step 1: Materials
The only materials for this are three hackysacks, or any ball that has decent amount of weight. Another good type of ball is a tennis ball, or a golf ball.
When beginning you want to have the same type of ball because they have the same weight.
Step 2: One Ball
In this step all you need is one ball. If you are right handed start with your right hand, if you are left handed start with your left hand. Take that one ball and toss it up, with your starting hand, in the air about nose high and catch it with your other hand. Now take the ball in the hand you just caught it with, and do the same thing, but catch it with your starting hand. Do this step about one hundred times.
Step 3: Two Balls
Now take two of the three balls. This time you hold a ball in each hand and toss the ball, in your starting hand, nose high. When the ball reaches the height of your nose, throw the other ball nose high and catch both the balls in the other hand in which you threw it. The first ball you threw should be caught before the second ball you threw.
Do this fifty times starting with your start hand. when you get that mastered do the same thing but starting with your weak hand.
Step 4: Three Balls
Now if you got the first two steps mastered you are ready to move on to three balls. Now the only thing left to do is put the first two steps together and juggle.
Now start with two balls in your start hand and one in your weak hand. The first thing to do is throw one of the balls in your start hand into the air, nose high. When it reaches the height of your nose Throw the ball in your weak hand nose high, when the second ball you threw reaches the height of your nose, throw the third ball, the second one in your start hand, nose high.
When you throw the third ball you should have already caught the first ball you threw.
