Mayonnaise is an emulsion of oil and egg, with a little acidity and salt added to brighten the flavors. It can be customized to meet your tastes. Store it in the refrigerator and use within five days.

You will need:

1 Egg.

1/2 tsp of salt (or less. Add pepper, if desired).

1 tsp of Mustard.

2 Tsp of white Vinegar.

1 cup of vegetable oil.

Mix all the ingredients with an immersion blender (It's easier, faster, and more reliable to do this with an immersion blender).

    Hello, delicious and simple recipe !!! . a suggestion: why do not mix directly in the bottle in which it is stored in the refrigerator. Cheers

    Must try this. I usually drizzle the oil in as the blender blades are spinning. I also use mustard power. Makes good mayo. Never need to buy any!
