Here is a great toy to make for your kids. It is a mini cannon made mainly from pvc. It can shot small objects like dryed pinto beans.
In this video I show you how to make it and test shoot it. It does take a little work to make it strong, but it is worth it. The beans can be shot as little as a few inches up to a few yards depending on the size of the rubber band and how far you can pull the dowel back.
