Introduction: How to Make Beeswax Lip Balm! by Ashton Rogers and Karis Cheek

  Making lip balm can be a long and crazy process, but with these steps you will have it done within a few hours! Once you have the ingredients it is very easy to create. This is a fun way to make something helpful! Lip balm is an everyday thing that people use. The lip balm can even be a gift for the holidays! This saves money and keeps your dry lips and skin smooth and healthy.

Your supplies needed:
containers (depends on amount of lip balm)
1 tbsp. of grated beeswax
2 tbsp. of coconut oil
a few drops of vitamin E oil
1 pinch of sparkles
glass measuring cup

Step 1: Helpful Hints/ Tips

-Use a small grater for your beeswax because it can easily get stuck in the grater holes.
-You can use any small measurment (amount) to use to put the lip balm in the containers, but a tablespoon is usually how much can fit in one container.
-Using a glass measuring cup is important because it won't melt in the microwave.
-You can use any amount of sparkles depending on your liking. One pinch or so should be enough though.

Step 2: The Beeswax

Grate the beeswax into1 tablespoon and put it in the measuring cup. Make sure it is packed tightly!

Step 3: Vitamin E Oil

Put a few drops of vitamin E oil in the measuring cup.

Step 4: Coconut Oil and Sparkles

Put coconut oil in measuring cup with your amount of sparkles.

Step 5: Stir #1

Stir everything in the measuring cup together.

Step 6: Microwave and Stirring #2

Microwave of 30 seconds and stir.

Step 7: Microwave Again!

Keep microwaving the lip balm until beeswax melts completely and mixture will look nice and golden.

Step 8: Container Time!

Pour lip balm in the container(s) before it has time to set up!

Step 9: Letting It Set

Leave for a couple of hours to set up in the container and take it's shape.

Step 10: Enjoy!

    Any chance you could rotate your images? They look like great photos, but are a bit hard to look at sideaways. Great project!
