How to Make Clay Out of Flour and Crisco




This step by step article will tell you how to make soft clay out of Crisco, flour, water, and food coloring.

  1. 1 cup of Flour.
  2. 1 or two tablespoons of Crisco or vegetable shortening.
  3. Some water (doesn`t madder how much I will tell you how to add the water.)
  4. Food coloring
  5. salt.
  6. A spoon, mixer, fork, or your hands.
  7. And last but not least a bowl.

Step 2: Step 2

To begin, you will want to get your water and mix it with food coloring if you want.

Step 3: Step 3.

Now you want to put your flour into your bowl.

Step 4: Step 4.

Next, put your 1 or 2 tablespoons of Crisco or vegetable shortening in the flour.

Step 5: Step 5.

Put a little bit of food color water into the Crisco and flour, mix. OH, almost forgot add salt if you don't have any that's fine.

Step 6: Step 6

Finally, once you have made your clay take it out of the bowl and keep kneeding for about 1 or 2 minutes. Enjoy!
