Augment the code of a picture using free software to create one of a kind, never duplicated glitch art

Step 1: Download the Free Open Source Software

Go to Hex Fiend and download the free software to your computer.

Step 2: Download an Image You Would Like to Glitch

I get my images from the internet, but make sure you check copyright if you don't use your own images. Any size image will work. Jpg works best, but I have also used gif and png.

Step 3: Drag Your Image Right Into the Program

I drag the image over the program, you can also open it after you start the program.

Step 4: It Should Look Like This.

It will be a lot of code, this is how we will glitch it.

Step 5: Mess It Up!

Select parts of the code and copy them, delete them, paste them. Do whatever you want. I prefer to make small changes at first, but don't be afraid. Mess it up!

Step 6: Save As

Make sure you save as in order to keep the original picture. Once it is messed up it is near impossible to undo, so make sure to SAVE AS

Step 7: Look at Your New Image.

You have now made glitch art, you can keep going if you want, recreate the process and it will come out completely different. Glitch art is all about letting the computer glitch!

Yep there are several. Giving a couple a quick test to see which is best to recommend.
