Introduction: How to Paint Cover for Airsoft

I'm going to show you how to paint some cover for airsoft. I did this earlier today. Sorry for the pictures... I forgot to take pictures so they're in paint but they're decent pics.

Step 1: First, Find Something That You Can Use.

I use wood. Cut it to what you want it to look like or just leave it.

You can use wood(pallets, plywood, logs,), plastic, some metal, tarp, tires, cardboard, and just old useless junk as cover but some might not be easy to paint or set up.

Step 2: Clean Your Project.

Clean your project of grime and dirt so that the paint will stick.

Step 3: Collect Ferns

Get about 3 or 4 ferns. You can use leaves or sticks but I used ferns because I think they look cooler. :P

You can get ferns, sticks, leaves or make your own custom design.

Step 4: Straighten the Fern

This is kind hard but it prevents your decal from looking blurry. Notice in the picture below that the spine of the fern is curved. Kind of snap the spine at parts so that its straighter. If there are any leaves that stick up at the bottom then rip them off.

Step 5: Paint Secondary Color

For this step pick 2 colors, one primary and one secondary. My secondary was green and my primary was brown. You can make it white and black or tan and brown.

Step 6: Lay Out the Ferns

Lay out the ferns or sticks or leaves over your project how ever you want them to be.

Step 7: Paint Primary Color

Now paint you primary color. Try to paint directly over you project about 10 inches high so that you don"t blow away the ferns or leaves with the paint spraying out of the can.

Step 8: Finished

Just let it dry and nail it up to a tree or something. :D Comments are appreciated.
