How to Test RF Transmitter and Receiver Before Programming

Hello guys,

Do you have RF transmitter and receiver not working after you programmed?

Do not worry, you can use this techniques to check your devices.

Step 1:

You can simply test if both are working or not.

connect both as shown in the image.

when you connect the data pin to 5V is mean on (send signal 1).

and, when you connect it to the ground is mean off (sending 0).

If you see in another side the LED is flashing according to 1 and 0, is mean that your device is working.

Now you can start programming :)

    Hello,

    The uLED should be on when you connect data pin in the Tx with +5V.

    I just tested again and it is okay.

    Hi,

    So i followed the above steps, my LED always blinks on rec. side. When i connect my data pin to Vcc it becomes bright for a second and strarts to blink again. when i connect data to gnd nothing happens pls help....

    Great idea to test RF module simply. My module is flashing when gone to 1 and when gone to 0. Thanks for this tips.
