This is an old photo of me wearing a bow tie with an outfit that goes with it. This is what you strive to get when you tie a bow tie.

Step 1: Step 1: Picking the Bow Tie

Like all great people that love to dress this is an important part of of starting an outfit. You need to have a bow tie that will go well with the outfit that you are wear so it will make the outfit pop and make you stunt on everyone out there.

Step 2: Step 2: Beginning of Greatness

To start your bow tie you must adjust your left side so that it is longer than the right and this is important cause you will be using the left side alot.

Step 3: Step 3: Cross

The next strep is to cross the left side over top of the right side.

Step 4: Step 4: Coming Up

On this step you bring the left side underneath the tie itself.

Step 5: Step 5: High and Tight

On this step you are going to tighten the tie by pulling each end of the tie to make it tight, but you have it tight and still able to breathe.

Step 6: Step 6: Forming the Tie

This is one of the most important steps. On this step you take you right index finger and place it on the left flap of the bow tie to start forming the tie.

Step 7: Step 7: Forming the Tie (cont.)

Now, Bring the left flap that you just formed close to the body and hold it with you left hand and be ready for the next step with the right flap.

Step 8: Step 8: Complication Sets in

Okay on this step, you are to bring the right side in front the left flap that you just made and you are to fold the left flap covering the right flap that you have just taking in front of.

Step 9: Step 9: Make the Hole

On this step you are to pull the left flap from the body to create a small hole that will be utilized in the next step. Tip: make sure you do not pull it too much cause then that will mess up how tight you made your tie in the previous steps.
