This is a technique that I use when giving someone a large amount of music for their library or when I am backing up my library. Essentially you transfer just the files, keeping the size of the files down.

~~IF YOU WANT TO PLAY MUSIC IN A CD PLAYER THIS INSTRUCTABLE IS NOT FOR YOU, THE DISC(S) BURNT IN THIS TUTORIAL WILL NOT BE PLAYABLE IN A CD PLAYER~~

--- I use this technique only for backup of my music library. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TROUBLE THAT YOU GET IN FOR UNSING THIS TECHNIQUE AGAINST THE LAW. Thank you and that is all ---

Supplies:

Step 1: Preperation

Materials Necessary:

- iTunes (with a music library)
- a CD or DVD burn drive (built in to many computers)
- Blank CDs or DVDs

Step 2: Create a Playlist

Create a playlist containing all the songs you would like to transfer.

Step 3: Burn Settings

Once you have your music in a playlist click "Burn Disk"

In the menu that comes up select "Data CD or DVD"

Click "Burn"

Step 4: BURN!

Insert your Blank Disk and you are on your way!

Step 5: Further Information and Notes

This disk will only be able to be used on a computer.

Keep in mind that CDs are usually 700 mb and DVDs are usually 4.7 GB

Just to remind people that, of course, copying copyright material in this way to distribute to friends is illegal and not the sort of thing any one would do!
